is a little known feature which was way ahead of it's time when Nissan introduced it. It was only included on a limited run of cars and is activated only under certain extreme circumstances. In cases of severe foot odor the Dr. Scholls foot aerator venting feature is activated which floods the floor with activated carbonized air which is then vented under the seats to the rear cabin and exhausted through the rear outflow valves into the exhaust path. Designed to prevent uncontrollable squinting and gasping from obnoxious gases which can loss of control of the car.
